1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the IRU Reclaim platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including reporters, administrators, and any individual interacting with the platform.

2. Description of Service

IRU Reclaim is a smart lost & found management platform developed and operated by IRU Business Group Ltd (Gahanga, Kicukiro, Kigali, Rwanda). The platform enables institutions to report, track, and reclaim lost items digitally, with features including item reporting, case management, matching, and notifications.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
  • Each user is permitted one account. Creating duplicate or fraudulent accounts is prohibited.

4. Reporting Obligations

  • Users must submit honest and accurate descriptions when reporting lost or found items.
  • Submitting false or misleading reports is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension.
  • Users must not submit duplicate reports for the same item.
  • Any attempt to fraudulently claim an item that does not belong to you is subject to legal action.

5. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts.
  • Use the platform to submit fraudulent or deceptive item reports.
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform data without written permission.
  • Impersonate another person or organization.
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the platform.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, and trademarks on the IRU Reclaim platform are the property of IRU Business Group Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

IRU Reclaim provides the platform on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, IRU Business Group Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform at any time for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any conduct that compromises the integrity of the platform. Users may also close their accounts at any time by contacting our support team.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes arising from the use of the IRU Reclaim platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kigali, Rwanda.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
